Looking Back

When I look back into yesterday,
I realise, how I lost my way
My days passed like hours, hours like seconds
But i never Enjoyed them, is what my heart reckons
My life was always 'ful of emptiness'
Don'no why, I just couldn't make up for this mess
What I did, was what I never wished
And what I didnt, was what everyone Cherished.

People say, they wish to turn back time
but I won't, 'cause that'd be a crime
If I were wanted to pray to god
I would have asked him NOT to change anything at all
Instead, to, just change me throughout
So, I can stop troubling my mind with all my stupid doubts

But What I did, is now, a thing of past
I must look forward to make my future last
And future, they say, is made of present
But does past matters? No it doesnt.
So I need to stay focussed, for my time is now
And stop looking back, if you ask me how
